Pauline Chauveau

Pauline Chauveau is the Gender and Peacemaking Programme Officer at the European Institute of Peace. She co-manages the implementation of the “Breaking Barriers, Making Peace” project for Advancing Women’s Meaningful Participation in Peace Processes, and contributes to theimplementation the EIP Gender & Peacemaking Institutional Strategy.
Pauline has provided support to a wide range of peacebuilding initiatives aiming to address intersecting dimensions of equality. Most notably, she provided policy and programmatic support to peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts in the Europe and Central Asia (ECIS) region while working at the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub. She supported the European Commission’s Task Force on Equality in applying an intersectional approach to equality in EU policies. She has worked with civil society actors such as the European Network of Equality Bodies (EQUINET) and Reporters without Borders, as well as in one of the leading consulting companies in the field of Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, GOPA Pace. Pauline obtained her Peace Studies Master’s degree from Paris Dauphine University and the Ecole Normale Supérieure (PSL) in France.
