Enrique Ascaso Ainsa
Enrique Ascaso Ainsa joined the Institute in September 2024 as an Intern for the Great Lakes Region and Southern Africa team. He is now the Programme Assistant supporting the institute’s strategic work on its Great Lakes Region and Southern Africa conflict resolution policy.
Prior to his role at the Institute, he had ample experience in large scale event organization as well as an international background. Enrique holds a Master’s Degree from the Brussels School of Governance in Diplomacy and Global Governance and a dual degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of Dundee.
Enrique speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian and German.
